Balanced Seasonal Living with Ayurveda

Ayurveda

is a foundational practice here at Ananda Counseling + Wellness because it offers a natural and intuitive path to healthy living, grounded in the principles of nature.

Founded over 5,000 years ago in India, Ayurveda is both a sophisticated health system and cultural tradition that emphasizes the importance of achieving and maintaining balance in all aspects of life - physical, mental, and spiritual.

As you begin exploring the basic principles of Ayurveda, it can be helpful to work with an Ayurvedic Counselor for support in tuning into your own inner wisdom. Over time, you will begin to understand your body, how you respond to and digest all aspects of your life, including environmental factors, work, play, exercise, food, emotions, and spiritual connections.

By understanding and aligning yourself with the natural seasonal cycles, you can cultivate a deeper understanding of your unique healing journey and nurture yourself accordingly.

When you ready to embrace the wisdom of the ancient healing system of Ayurveda and align your well-being with the changing seasons, an Ayurvedic Seasonal Guide plus one-on-one implementation sessions is the perfect place to start!

Fall seasonal guides help when you feel anxious and “all over the place.”

January - April

Late winter through early Spring is Kapha season, the season of rejuvenation, allergies & seasonal sads.

Winter/Spring seasonal guides help when you feel down, sluggish and sleepy.
